Had such a banging Christmas '06!! Went kbox with de cheryl and gwen in the afternoon and ate like 3 servings of nuts, and that was and breakfast and lunch. And Deanna drove us to the airport after that cuz char Su's back today after 4 months in Belgium. Char left after saying hello cuz her family was waiting, so instead, we met her later at around 11 for a drink to update about our lifes and the team. Well, i can see that she's asking a lot from the team and that made me somehow feel pressured because of my commitment towards the team. So much things going thru my mind while they were chit-chatting. There are just some stuff which as usual, i cant put across using words. I wish someone could just understand me and translate it into human language. Using my own personal language will mean that the main point wouldnt be made clear and misunderstandings would occur and hence what i'm trying to say will be misunderstood. So forget it.
While Char went home for dinner, De Gwen Leanne annd me went for a invited buffet dinner at Copthone Hotel from the Asian Fiba women's U20 game. Ate sooooo much smoked Salmon and that was basically what filled my tummy. And at the 1st bite of the log cake dessert that i ate, the Korean ref disturbed me and said that it'll make me fat. So each of the following bite made me feel so sinful! Guess what the ref said about me... He say i was Ke Ai!!!! But..... bu piao liang!!!!!! *piang!!! Meanwhile, players from each country had to perform, Japan, Korea, SriLanka, India, Uberkistan, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Chinese Taipei and of course, Singapore. Most of them either sang or dance or both, and Singapore team's performance was in my view, the most entertaining. They sang the korean three bear song, dui mian the nu hai kan guo lai and some christmas carols, but the way they danced to it was so funny. The whole thing ended with some blasting R n B songs and the players just danced together.
Maybe i should work harder to slim down, cuz at this rate i'm going, it's going nowhere. If i can cut down 8kg, why cant i cut down another 8kg?? I'm gonna start my routine again.

Using my sis's labtop now watching a Hong Kong serial - Fa Zheng Xian Feng. It's like a cantonese version of CSI, the story line is quite intertesting, and the laptop is getting really hot, had been watching it since 8pm and itz like 4 hours already, but the show gets more interesting.
Had a friendly match with the J1 and J2s on Thursday. Another rainy day and the game had to be stopped 5min into the game cuz the floor was too wet and everyone was slipping around. Coach decided that there was no training value for the friendly game to continue, so rescheduling a rematch was the next best idea. After i joined this team, i realise that playing basketball isntall about playing a ball game and having a proper coach is so different.It requires so much from each and everyone of the team mates. I got to learn so much stuff, and i never thought that a simple fastbreak requires so much 'knowledge' and a full court press that works well requires so much steps. I went to play bball with the guys today too, and i realise that i'm not having the ball feel this few weeks,my hands just cant seem to communicate with the ball. Haiz, just one of those down periods i guess.
Some of the more happystuff: I went for Asian Women Championship U20to be statistician. Definately an eye opener for me. First time i did statistics for a game, got the feel for it quite fast.The matches that night was great too, espacially the last gam - Japan Vs Korea game. But too bad i was dead beat by then, so i didnt really feel the excitment.
Christmas's round the corner and i thought the atmosphere for Christmas is fanastic this year. All the Christmas songs are stuck in my head cuz the kids back at the childcare were singing those songs like 10 times a day. Sometime ago, i remember that Christmas is just another public holiday for me, but this year's different,i'm going to daniel's house for BBQ, so i guess it would be fun. I have no idea what to bring there and its not-so-nice to be there empty handed. I thought of giving them each a christmas candycane with a little ribbon,but then, thot it would be something woredto give to 20 year old guys. So too bad, i shall go there empty handed!!

Same old complains i have... I'm so tired and i need more time to study!!! But yet, i had a tiring but great week. I went for a magic show called 'The Magic Of Love For Christmas'. It's a magic show held by Faith Baptist Community church. The magician Lawence Khong is a world class magician and together with his daughter, they went several countries to perform.
Well, magic, as you know, things always disappear and appear esle where, bodies cut into little pieces and later back into one whole piece, humans flying without the help of wiring support. Well, only if they can turn my pathetic $10 that i have into many many $10s. But overall, it was great cuz itz the 1st time i watched a real life magic show. The magicians literally were 'cut' into half in front of my bare eyes, humans flew into the air and disappeared into the thin air. Though i know it did not happen, but i really have no idea how did that happen. Learnt something though: the 1st rule of magic - 'Things are never what you see'.
After the show, Deanna, Gwen and me went to the airport for dinner at a place called popeye. It's the first time that i went, it's just something like KFC. We ate chicken, mash potato, fries etc. Hope you all have enjoyed yourselves too!

Realise itz been a long long long time since i've blogged!! I've been quite busy with school work and i'm trying to catch up, yet still, i seem to lag behind by a lot. I needa study and study and study!!! If i fail micro or ABSM, i cant get to my third year of education cuz itz a preaquisite before i can take new subjects. Repeating more subjects = pay more money, and i'm trying to save. Working and studying at the same time is really not easy!!
All of a sudden my stone dropped. So freaking painful this morning lah!!!
