2 more days... and i'll be back in Singapore.. I miss everyone there, espacially the basketball folks.. Must gather for ban mian soon k..
I went cny visiting yesterday coz my dad was born in Shanghai, so we have a few relatives here.. It's been 16 years since i've gone to a proper cny visiting.. And i finally realise why people say that we will grow fatter during cny.. I've been eating non-stop coz each family that i visit, they keep asking us to eat.. So i eat and eat and eat.. Argh.. I feel fat!
Went to visit my grandma's sister, and this is the first time met her.. She ask me how old am i.. And guess what she say after i tell her i'm 19...?? She ask me why am i not married.. Like wth.. How am i supposed to answer that??
I miss singapore... espacially you... I want to be back faster.. I think i need a hug...!
I catch a glimpse of heaven
Guess what.. I'm in China now!! I'm gonna spend chinese new year here.. It's freaking cold and dry here... I've been shivering the whole day.. I feel like a big dumpling wearing so many layers of clothes.. My nose feels like ice cream, that you can bite it off anytime coz itz basically frozen.. I keep feel like eating because of the cold weather.. This is apparently a bad sign..
Though Shanghai is a province that is considered one of the more well-developed province in china, but the standard of living is still quite low.. well, at least as compared to Singapore.. I can buy almost 3 times as much things from the supermarket here.. And the manicure is like just RMB $8 to $30.. it's like really cheap.. i was quite amazed when i saw resturants like hooters, pizza hut, Ajisen and i thought that this place is not that 'ulu' as i thought it would be... And there are high-end gadgets like the GPS installed in cars.. This simple looking gadget is really Amazing.. You just have to tell them the destination that you are going, and it'll give you instructions along the way.. like how many metres more before you have to make a left or right turn!! Cool!~
The traffic here is TerRiBlE!!! I'm so afraid of the traffic, drivers basically just cut lanes in and out as they wish.. There is no order at all... Needless to say, my dad is one of them, i'm like so scared while i'm in the car...
Today has been quite a plain day, didn't shop much.. yet.. haa... Shall upload the photos when i'm free..~~*yawnZZ.. I'm so sleepy today.. the night seemed soooo long.. The sky turns totally dark at 5.20pm, so itz like already late into the night when itz only 11pm now... Maybe i should get some sleep now...
